While passing miles of open space and farmland this morning on my way to central Illinois, I thought about all the people performing alongside me. People from all walks of life and many different states will be in one place because the one element we have in common; music. We as artist speak for more people than just ourselves. We relate to individuals during their ups and downs. Music artist have a remarkable ability to paint a picture with words and the courage to welcome the public into our lives. Who cares judge me. I’ve been down, but music picks me right back up. So tonight when I perform my new single, When I Grow Up, I will be speaking for people who feel the same way as me.
